
Nov 2007: Blockbuster Christmas Retail Campaign
Armadillo's latest direct mail campaign for Blockbuster has caused a stir in the entertainment retail landscape this season. The innovative one-piece fold out format provided copy space comparable with a four page media insert at minimum production cost. Creative was fully integrated with the overall Christmas campaign theme developed by Armadillo's design division, and show-cased Blockbuster's marketing leading retail deals. A 10% Off multi-use "Bonus Card" was used to drive repeat behaviour right through to closing time on Christmas Eve.
Head Of Marketing Katie O'Rourke said: "We're delighted with this latest campaign - it's really put our retail offering on the map for customers who normally only use us to rent, and response is on track to exceed forecasts."
